Are you ready to tap the night away and party like Seb and Mia? Join Black Cat on February 26th, as we tune in for the 89th annual Academy Awards. We’ll be showing the Oscars upstairs with the sound turned up, so get ready to root for La La Land starting at 5pm. We’ll even be featuring a special La La Land-themed cocktail all weekend for $12: The City of Stars - Gin, Aperol, Cocchi Americano, lemon, prosecco.

The grand finale to a spectacular evening will be NYC-based jazz bassist Or Bareket Downstairs @ Black Cat (Music charge: $10).

About Or Bareket
Born in Jerusalem and raised in Buenos-Aires and Tel-Aviv, Or Bareket is quickly establishing himself as one of the most versatile bassists on the NYC jazz scene.

Winner of the 1st prize at the International Society of Bassists' jazz competition in 2011, Or’s diverse heritage informs his distinct style. His approach to improvisation is informed by Mediterranean, South American, and North African folklores, all interpreted through his deep knowledge and appreciation of the American Jazz tradition.
