Harumo Sato is not afraid of color! In her work, Harumo often juxtaposes vibrant hues to embrace the light-hearted feeling of playfulness and cheer— even when the subject matter embodies a dark theme. "Using colors is like living in the moment," says Harumo. "The brightness of the color is most powerful when it is freshly paintined. Like life, it is not eternal."
Harumo Sato is a California-based, Japanese visual artist who earned a Bachelors degree from the University at Buffalo in 2015.
