Read about the Ma Sharanam school
Swami Gurusharanananda gets his inspiration from Ananda Mayi Ma a most adored woman saint who lived until 1982. He is a master of Yoga asanas. He has an MA in Philosophy and a PHD in interpretation of the Upanishads (Indian Scriptures). He serves as director of the ashram and the school run in Omkareshwar. He is an expert in Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) and many natural healing methods. He spends his time in meditation and austerity, and uses his many talents in the service of his Guru and ashram.
The evening will open with half an hour of meditation, followed by the Sivananda daily chants. We end with sharing a hearty vegetarian soup together.
