The San Jose Wind Symphony
https://www.sjws.org kicks off its sixty-first season with a series of concerts celebrating the theme of “the American dream.” The first concert of the season — “Rhapsody in Red, White and Blue” — features the music of two of America’s favorite composers, George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein. Joining the Wind Symphony for his third solo appearance with the group is internationally acclaimed pianist Avguste Antonov, who will perform Gershwin’s masterpiece, “Rhapsody in Blue.” The concert, under the direction of Dr. Edward C.
