Join the SF Yiddish Combo for a night of vaguely Jewish music at the venerable Bazaar Cafe.
The SF Yiddish Combo is Klezmer for the 21st century. While honoring the traditions of wild, virtuosic instrumental Klezmer, SFYC throws in a new twist. With English vocals, new compositions, brief forays into gypsy music and show tunes, and a little bit of rock and roll, the SFYC is music to smile to and maybe even dance to!
On Sept 18, a small chunk of the SFYC will present an intimate show at the Bazaar Cafe. Starting at 7 pm, there will be a half hour of social time, and also time for everyone to grab a drink or a snack and then at 7:30 pm the SFYC will present a short concert.
Admission is free. Tips for the musicians appreciated
