Returning to Knuth Hall at San Francisco State University, join the San Francisco/Lesbian Gay Freedom Band on Saturday, September 24 at 3pm for Timescapes: Music Spanning Time & Space, the next in the Band's award-winning series of community concerts.
Timescapes is a musical exploration of time and how our understanding of place transforms over eons. The concert features multiple perspectives, including selections that explore time's cultural impact on space on an epochal scale in Korea, Japan, India, Central America, our own home state of California, and even the surface of the moon.
