"Evolution"
A tribute to Hip Hop and the values in the Hip Hop culture that has inspired Navid (B-Boy Spagetti) and given him a deeper connection to the impact that this culture has had in the life of many people around the world. With his expression and movement, Navid takes us to the evolution of the Hip Hop culture worldwide and how Breaking is working its way up to the Paris 2024 Olympics.

An exploration of different dance styles to portray an aggressive militaristic theme. An antagonistic tone draws you into the grim universe where everyone is forced to fight to survive. A variety of styles are utilized; including waacking, housing, femme, and urban choreography.

Hidden abilities of regular children.

In her performance, hip-hop dancer Farah Deen explores new ground, both in terms of her individual technique and innovative approach. She ventures out into a theatrical context rather unusual in urban dance and sets off on a journey through the fields of tension arising from religion and femininity.

Based off the folk story of a man who says "There are within me two dogs. One of them is good and one of them is evil. They are constantly fighting" When asked which one wins he replies "The one I feed the most."

An urban dance theatre piece about us dealing with virtual worlds.Technology gets faster and better. The flood of information hitting us everyday increases continuously and infinite possibilities of global networking can be accessed anywhere, anytime; to our advantage and disadvantage. What drives us to check our smartphones all day? What importance has a virtual profile in reality? Are we just shadows of ourselves?These questions guide the five performers through #fomo. Within the piece they experience constructive and destructive aspects of virtuality. On stage they create characters, drama and scenes through the urban dance styles Breaking, Popping, Locking, HipHop-Freestlye and House.

Loosely inspired by the rap lyrics from a Clipping song in which he describes a captive passenger awakening and realizing he must choose between a life of imprisonment or an escape that could result in death. In playing with that concept, "Leap of Faith" speaks to our need to shake up our situation in life in order to gain a new perspective and ultimately achieve true freedom.
