Every year San Francisco loses thousands of affordable housing units to Ellis Act evictions, demolitions, Owner Move-Ins, buy-outs, and landlord harassment. On Monday, September 25th help be part of the solution to the affordable housing crisis - and have some fun while you are at it!
While our peers work hard at building more affordable units, the San Francisco Community Land Trust offers a unique preservation model that protects affordable homes where they already exist. The neighbors who live in these affordable units are our elders, teachers, artists, community organizers, non-profit workers, health care providers, parents, and neighbors.
Join us at the 2nd Annual SFCLT Community Fundraiser and help us protect San Francisco's affordable housing - be warned, however, this will not be your typical nonprofit event! This year we are excited to feature San Francisco's own NATO GREEN (www.natogreen.com), who has a unique, powerful, and often hilarious perspective you can hear in his stand-up - and read in his regular column in the Examiner.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING EVENT WILL FEATURE A LIVE STAND UP COMEDY PERFORMANCE. THERE WILL BE JOKES TOLD, AND GENERALLY A GOOD TIME TO BE HAD BY ALL.
LIVE COMEDY WILL START AT 7PM SHARP. (GUESTS ARRIVING BETWEEN 7:00 – 7:30PM PLEASE ENTER THE VENUE RESPECTFULLY).
Tickets: $50 suggested donation, $25 non-profit, and $5 for SFCLT members and students!
Tickets include: 2 drinks at the bar, hors d'oeuvres provided by Sal de Vida, and locally sourced, all organic live stand-up comedy.
