The San Francisco Black Film Festival (SFBFF) "Resilience & Empowerment" 25th Anniversary Yearlong Celebration Launches During Black Music Month
Join the San Francisco Black Film Festival (SFBFF) Kick-Off Party June 12th at Yoshi's in Oakland. "Ladies Soul Revolution II" performs featuring Oakland's own Netta B with special guest Tracy Cruz and Grammy Award nominated RyanNicole at 7:30 PM.
Michael Burdette & Hylife- OCity Productions salutes Black Panther Letitia Wright's film "Surrounded" in which she stars as an intrepid and heroic female Buffalo soldier after the Civil War.
Spanning Juneteenth and Father's Day Weekend, rhe SFBF Festival XXV, 25 Years of Resilience & Empowerment is slated for June 15-18, 2023, following Monday's kick-off at Yoshi's.
SFBFF Opening Night is June 15th at the African American Art and Culture Complex in San Francisco. Screenings take place at various venues and times.
