Sam Has been playing the blues in the Bay Area since the early 70's. Raised on the East Side of San Jose he grew up listening to a steady diet of Ray Charles, BB King, Jimmy Smith just to name a few from his parents Blues, Jazz, and R&B record collection. Sam received his first Guitar at the age of 10 and started learning from local street payers. At age 11 he was in a small Rock band. Around age 13 Sam's uncle played him a Paul Butterfield Blues Band record with Mike Bloomfield and Elvin Bishop, from that point all Sam wanted to do was play the Blues.
