Born the youngest of four into a multiethnic family inspired Saadi and exposed him to an array of world rhythms also engraining a sense of importance toward bridging cultures. Playing professionally since 2006, Saadi has trotted the globe expanding his world view and incorporating folk styles from around the world into his style and repertoire. Considering folk music of any country, in any language to be the essence of humanity and the key to cross culture similarity, Saadi writes and sings in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Swahili to not only express life and emotion through different lenses, but share those various sentiments with others. The Coffis Brothers & The Mountain Men are five young men from the Santa Cruz Mountains that have been playing around the Bay Area and beyond since 2010. The band consists of Jamie Coffis (Vocals, Keyboard, ) Kellen Coffis (Vocals, guitar,) Kyle Poppen (Guitar,) Aidan Collins (Bass,) and Sam Kellerman (Drums.) They play a style of music that is rock and roll in the most classic sense, melodic, rootsy and heartfelt. The songwriting duo of Jamie and Kellen show an obvious love for a bygone era of music and for groups like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Neil Young and The Beatles as well as a sense of maturity and experience beyond their years.
