Bay Area music veterans include Andrea Pritchett on lead vocals, Jessie Ortiz on keyboard, Nzingah on sax and flute, Judy Graboyes on drums, Chris Cooper on guitar, and Suzanne Falter and Janet Rachel on backup vocals.

Ruby's in Town is a lesbian friendly band playing R&B, old soul, funk and even a little disco. It's the stuff that makes you want to get up and dance! The band includes many seasoned vets in the Bay Area music scene, and recent appearances have included Freight & Salvage, and The Terrace Room at the Lake Merritt Hotel. the Ivy Room in Albany, Rossmoor's Diablo Room, & Oakmont (Santa Rosa).
Andrea Pritchett (lead vocals) formerly of the folk trio "Rebecca Riots" is a singer songwriter and continues to perform locally with the songwriter collective "Wildcat Canyon". A school teacher and activist, Andrea is deeply involved in the Berkeley community and loves to play music that can make people dance and forget their troubles for awhile.
Suzanne Falter (vocals) is the creator of an award winning one-woman show, and a veteran of the New York cabaret scene. She also sings with the Gospel Interfaith Choir. Recently she was featured soloist with Oakland's Community Women's Orchestra, and was back up singer with Leave It to Diva.
Janet Rachel (vocals) performed with Alternative Measures satire a cappella quartet, was a founding member of Out On A Clef a cappella quartet, Note-orious vocal jazz sextet, and was a back up vocalist with Leave It To Diva band.
Green Huse (vocals) is a singer-songwriter and improvisor. She is about to release her 3rd album of original songs. She is also a founding member of The Elements, an acapella improvisational quintet that performs and teaches internationally.
Nzingah (tenor sax and flute), also known as Robin Nzingah Smith, is a local musician and music educator performing throughout the Bay Area in a variety of styles from Blues to Jazz to Classical. She was a founding member of the band Azucar y Crema , played with Azucar con Ache & Adelante Mujer, and now plays with Johnny Tolbert and De Thangs, Key Elements & Pat Wilder's band.
Chris Cooper (guitar) is a guitarist, violinist, composer, poet and teacher who has been performing and recording in the Bay Area for many years. He played in Conjunto Cespedes among other groups.
Jessie Ortiz (keyboards) also plays with Buddhist Squirrels (a jazz quintet). In the past she has played with Little Spike, Wazobia, Tropical Vibrations, & the Alberta Jackson Band. She wants you to get up & dance!
Judy Graboyes (drums) plays bass, drums, and latin percussion. She also plays with the Left Coast Sextet and Adelante Mujeres. Her bands have opened for Peter Tosh, Pete and Sheila Escovedo, Tower of Power, and Tuck and Patti.
