After a rough childhood, Ron Hacker discovered the blues and taught himself how to play the guitar. Once he moved to the Bay Area, he started his own band, the Hacksaws, and continues to perform and regularly. Since then, Ron Hacker has played at almost every major music festival in Northern California, including the Monterey Jazz Festival, the San Francisco Blues Festival, the Marin County Blues Festival and the Long Beach Blues Festival.
