ABOUT YOUR HOSTS:

NICOLE CALASICH is a Bolivian-American comedian, producer, and generally a winner. Based in San Francisco, she performs regularly at major clubs and intimate rooms, including the SF Punchline, Cobb’s, and Doc’s Lab. Her humor is big words smartcool and her penchant for incisive audience rapport is the dumbest. She’s performed all over the country and opened for Dan Cummins, Ali Wong, Adam Newman, and features for Iliza Shlesinger. When her Twitter account is not being featured on Comedy Central, she produces four monthly shows in the Bay Area: Attractive Camp, Brave New Jokes, Jokelandish and Resistance is Futile. These are top-drawer comedy events, sure, but are also humble offerings to the great and powerful Xenu. Nicole is available for bookings until Tom Cruise says otherwise.

BROOKE HEINICHEN is a San Francisco-based up-and-coming stand-up comic who talks too fast and smiles too much. Her feel-good comedy act covers her Ohio upbringing, with a sprinkling of political commentary on both sides of the aisle, tied together with animated, vibrant storytelling that makes light of everything from failed dating experiments to family funerals. She performs nightly at clubs, bars, theaters, and wineries all over the Bay, and produces Bay Area showcases Brave New Jokes, Jokelandish, Thinking Women’s Comedy and ACLU fundraiser shows with Hot Take Comedy. She has performed at the 2016 and 2017 Lady Laughs Festivals (opening for headliner Mary Kennedy) and will perform in 2018 SF Sketchfest, selected as one of Audible’s Fresh Faces of Stand-Up.

GENEVA RUST-ORTA is an Oakland native comic. She took her East Bay humor across the Atlantic to university in the United Kingdom. In the UK, she performed at the Edinburgh, Camden, and Great Yorkshire fringe festivals. She was named Second Funniest Jew of 2015, at the 2015 Jewish Comedian of the Year Competition in London. Since moving back home, she has performed all over the Bay Area. She placed 3rd in the 2018 Rooster T. Feathers comedy competition. She produces Beef Curtains Stand Up Comedy at Milk Bar and Clusterfunk, curated independent comedy shows across the Bay Area.
