Ronen’s Office and BHNC for a Resilient Bernal Heights Launch Workshop!Dear Bernal Heights Community Member,As you know, Bernal Heights is a special community that has worked for decades to retain its unique identity and culture. Recently the news has been full of communities around the Bay Area that have experienced serious shocks.  From wildfires to broken gas lines, neighborhoods are being challenged to come together and help their residents protect their health and well-being, especially the vulnerable.In 2018, with the support of Supervisor Ronen and BHNC, a steering committee was assembled to craft a launch strategy for Resilient Bernal Heights.  We are now ready to host our first two community workshops where attendees will:

Receive a briefing on the NEN Empowered Communities Program


Participate in an exercise to identify Bernal Heights risks and needs
