The late, great Michael Hedges stands as one of the most important and influential musicians to ever play guitar. This evening of music and memories is designed to pay tribute to his enduring impact on the music world 20 years to the day after Michael's untimely passing. Featuring musical performances and words by those close to Michael during his life and career, as well as those inspired to carry on his musical legacy, this once-in-a-lifetime event will benefit Harbin Hot Springs (a frequent place of rejuvenation for Michael) which is still rebuilding after a devastating wild fire in 2015.
Fingerstyle guitarist Andy McKee, GRAMMY-nominated bass player and long-time Hedges musical partner Michael Manring, highly acclaimed solo guitarist Michael Gulezian and harp guitarist Jeff Titus will deliver the foundation for a great night of music composed by or dedicated to Michael Hedges with SPECIAL guest appearances and performances you WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Parking in San Francisco can be a challenge, as well as expensive. Fortunately, Z Space is close to a variety of public transportation lines, most notably:
The 16th and Mission BART stop.The 22, 27, and 33 MUNI bus lines.
We recommend visiting BART, MUNI, or 511.org to plan your trip here.
PARKING
In the neighborhood immediately around Z Space, please allow at least 30 minutes to find a space, and be sure to carefully read all restrictions on street signs and parking meters.
Street parking is plentiful beginning around 4:00 pm each day and on weekends.
There is a paid parking lot (operated by UCSF) lot at Harrison and 15th Street which has metered visitor spaces and located approximately three blocks from Z Space.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Please, no children under 6 years old out of respect for the audio experience. No other age restrictions apply.
What's the refund policy?
As this event is a benefit with all proceeds going directly to Harbin Hot Springs there will be no refunds. We thank you for your donation and hope you will be able to attend!
