Richard Villa is renowned for basing his standup routines on stories of his childhood, turning basic experiences into autobiographical satirical humor that depict life for Latinos and other minorities in the United States. After first hitting the stage, Richard soon found himself as a member of the acclaimed Groundlings Theatre Group, and went on to become the first Latino to ever host the renowned Hollywood Improv on Friday nights. Since then, he has performed with such heavy-hitters as Jeff Garcia, Carlos Mancilla, Gabriel Iglesia, Mike Epps, Orlando Jones, and Dat Phan, among others.
