Children will discover a world of shapes and patterns when putting recycled materials to an artistic purpose. Students will create a variety of art prints using bubble wrap,
styrofoam, food, and fish.
Instructor Michelle Kaskovich has over twenty years experience working with children in preschool and elementary classroom settings, after school programs and private, small-group art classes. This experience includes creating and facilitating K-6 after school art enrichment programs for her own children’s elementary school. She was educated at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Aberdeen University, Scotland. After receiving her B.A. in English Literature in 1995 she served for two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Russian Far East. Her artwork has appeared in exhibits and galleries in North Carolina, New Mexico, Hawaii and California.
