Recharge with Yoga Nidra

As we head into the first lunar cycle of 2018, it’s the perfect time to align your intentions for the year. How do you want to feel in this next chapter? Do you need to recharge or let go of anything? Set the tone for your new year with this grounding practice. Join Expansive Voice and Luminary, Victoria for an evening of relaxation with Yoga Nidra.

What is yoga nidra? And why is it so amazing? They say one hour of nidra is equivalent to four hours of sleep - it's deeply restorative and taps into each person's inner ability to self-heal. We will move through the layers of the physical, mental, and intuitive body with guided imagery and visualizations. During the practice, we activate our parasympathetic nervous system, which allows us to tune more clearly into our intuition and enhance creativity.  

What to Expect:
- Nidra is practiced lying down and wrapped in a blanket.
- Please arrive promptly, as we will begin right at 4p.
- There will be light movement prior to nidra ~ 5 minutes
- Nidra practice - no movement ~ 45 min- We will finish with a short journaling practice

*Yoga Mats Provided
*Blanket Provided
*If lying on the floor is uncomfortable, please bring any extra props you would like for comfort (i.e. pillow for knees, extra blanket)
*Paper and pen provided - Bring journal if you prefer
*Bring Water
