Really Funny Comedians Who Happen to Be Women w/ Special Guest Mary Mack

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Cobb's Comedy Club (see times)
English Playwright William Congreve said in 1695, "...I have never made any observation of what I apprehend to be true humor in women..." Possibly the first person to say women aren't funny. Congreve probably didn't know any better because he was born too early to catch a Really Funny Comedians (who Happen to Be Women) show. San Francisco's vibrant comedy scene produced Margaret Cho, Paula Poundstone, Aisha Tyler and recent rising stars Ali Wong and Emily Heller.  Come see the latest crop of up-and-coming funny ladies! William Congreve stands corrected.
Special guest: Mary Mack
A hybrid of Minnesota and Wisconsin (with a severe cheese dependency), comedian Mary Mack began her comedy career on a dare while teaching music in Nashville, TN. Now a favorite on radio shows and podcasts around the country including KFAN's Power Trip, The Bob and Tom Show, Marc Maron's WTF Podcast, and New York's 2 Dope Queens, Mary played the leading character, Dylan, on the Fox cartoon Golan the Insatiable, season one. She's appeared in Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival, HBO's Andy Kaufman Awards, and the San Francisco Sketch Fest as one of "The Dozen" up and coming headliners designated by the festival. Mack's television credits include Comedy Central's Live at Gotham, TBS' Conan, and NBC's Last Comic Standing and Last Call with Carson Daly. This year she will be working with Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland to voice a main character in his new cartoon Solar Opposites and in his video gameTrover Saves the Universe.

All shows are 18 & over with valid photo ID. There is a two drink minimum per person. Cameras and video/audio recording devices are not permitted. All non-headliner shows' lineups are subject to change. All tickets are General Admission, so seating is first come, first serve. Please arrive by 7:15 to guarantee tickets.
