Raissa Simpson's Codelining

A performance inspired by technology and youth?

THURSDAY, APRIL 19TH AT 7:00PM (Doors 6PM)

TICKETS: https://codelining.eventbrite.com

In the final event of choreographer Raissa Simpson’s residency at the Bayview Opera House, PUSH Dance Company teams up with Bayview high school students who have been studying with Raissa, technologist Daevron of We Inventing the Real (WIR) and BVOH production manager, David Saenz, for the past three months.

Raissa Simpson is the founder and artistic director of PUSH Dance Company, and known as a creative choreographer and social activist. She founded PUSH Dance Company to instill her deep interest in little known or untold stories seen in the public eye.

We Inventing the Real (WIR) is a technology and media collective invested in using new media tools to explore social justice issues.

This project was made possible by generous grants from the California Arts Council and the San Francisco Arts Commission, with additional support from Grants for the Arts, The San Francisco Foundation, and Supervisor Malia Cohen's office.
