Rahat Fateh Ali Khan brings "Qawwali," a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis, to San Jose. Born in Pakistan into a family of traditional musicians, he was trained by his uncle, who later guided him in a collaboration with Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam for the soundtrack to "Dead Man Walking." That wouldn't be his last film music job; he also laid down some of the vocal tracks for "Apocalypto." In 2010, Khan won "Best International Act" at the UK Asian Music Awards. Tickets are available now.
