Author Jon Mooallem, a contributing writer for the New York Times magazine and Pop-Up Magazine, will converse with Radio Silence editor Dan Stone about the white-bearded hermetic poet Hayden Carruth. We'll also talk about Jon's forthcoming book with Penguin Press, Wild Ones, and Jon will read some excerpts. [Here's what Michael Pollan recently said about it: "The book is as funny as it is sad, beautifully observed and written, and wiser about the human condition than anything I've read in a long time."]
Music!
Zach Rogue, the frontman of Rogue Wave and Release the Sunbird, will play a live solo set and will be our DJ for the evening. Rogue Wave's new record, Nightingale Floors, will be released this June.
Food!
Included in the entry cost, we'll be serving Georgian food by Satellite Republic. Boris will be pulling up in his classic moped-cum-kitchen. Dinner will be served from 7-8 pm.
Drink!
Also included in the cost are beers by Magnolia and wine by Sutton Cellars. And we'll have a cash bar featuring original cocktails by the incomparable Daniel Hyatt.

Radio Silence is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a volunteer staff; a portion of all our revenue is used to buy books and musical instruments for kids. All proceeds from the ticket sales and cash bar will go to charity.
