In this class, you will make a mini quilt, to discover and practice hand and machine quilting techniques. This class is appropriate for those with basic knowledge of hand sewing and how to operate a sewing machine.
We will:
assemble four quilt blocks;
assemble the blocks and the batting (and discuss how to choose the right batting for your project);
use a free motion foot;
make our own bias binding;
bind off the quilt.
(note that you may need to finish binding off the quilt at home, which is done by hand)
