Quilt Show: “Spring On The Strait”

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Benicia Historic Clock Tower (see times)
Carquinez Strait Stitchers present their "Spring on the Strait" Quilt Show.

Our show will be held on Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Historic Clock Tower in Benicia. As with shows of the past, our members display their works of fabric art - many are traditional quilts and others are new and very innovative. We expect to have about one hundred fifty quilted items displayed. These will include wall quilts, larger quilts and pieces of wearable art. Our venue has a rich history and the quilts look right at home. There will be approx. 15 vendor spaces. We will have door prizes and a country store where you can purchase guild members offerings. At this time, we won't be offering any food items for sale. There is free parking with impressive +views of the Carquinez Strait and Suisun Bay. The cost for admission is $10. Our featured artist is Laurie Grant, she will be giving demonstrations on both days.

We also have our Opportunity Quilt 'Radiant Joy' (pictured) on display and tickets will be available for purchase. You do not have to be present to win.

Our members will be showing their quilts and wearable arts, there will be vendors, gift baskets for raffle and a country store for your quilting needs.
