The funk-driven rhythms of Quench emerged when band members Phil Remer (guitar), Andy Levine (bass), Alex Goff (drums), and Jonathan Lancaster (tenor and alto sax, keys) reunited in 2015 in San Francisco. Inspiration from new school players like Lettuce, Orgone and Galactic under the influence of pioneering legends like The JBs, The Meters, Chaka Khan and Sharon Jones creates Quench's mosaic of solid sound. In late 2015 they were joined by vocalist Lauren Gould, and shortly afterwards by her vocalist soul sister Rachel Howard. Take a dip in the pool of timeless funk. Drink in the gritty, fluid compositions. Get your harmony restored...
