ACID PAULI

Born in the 1970s/seventies in Bavaria (Germany), Martin Gretschmann started to play bass guitar in a punk/indie band in the late eighties. At the same time he became interested in the evolution of electronic music and its instruments.

His first tracks were released in 1995 under the pseudonym “Console” and with the help of an Atari computer, a four-track tape machine, a sampler and a little synthesizer Martin produced his first album “Pan or ama” which was released in 1996.

Around the same time he joined “The Notwist” to bring the electronic sounds into the band. He has been a constant member of the band ever since.

After releasing several records, remixes, even radio plays (together with Andreas Ammer) and touring excessively, Martin finally decided to start another solo project:
Acid Pauli, a club oriented live Set that evolved into an advanced DJ set over the years and incorporated not only techno and house, but all different kinds of music whilst always remaining on the dance floor.

In 2004 the transcontinental group “13&God” was formed by the members of “The Notwist” and the experimental hip hop crew “Themselves” (Oakland/ California) joined the list of bands Mr. Gretschmann is part of.

And as another new project he joined a little collective who opened a music club in Munich called “Rote Sonne” which has been the playground for international renowned DJs, live acts and bands for about ten years now.

In 2011 Gretschmann moved to Berlin and of course got well connected there into the scene that includes clubs like “Bar 25″ and “Katerholzig”. Also he started a creative collaboration with “NU” and the friends of the new artistic project of “The Feathered Sun”.

At the beginning of 2014 “The Notwist” released a new album called “Close To The Glass” and started touring around the world.

Despite the fact that the artist Acid Pauli still seems in his early development, he played with his friend and colleague Damian Lazarus at the “Day Zero” Festival. Moreover, he developed a “sound performance” for an exhibition in Japan and performed on the “Robot Heart”stage at the Burning Man.

LetÂ’s see what happens next.

Pablo Bolivar

Pablo Bolivar was born in 1981. In 1998 he finished Sound Ingeniering at Crash institute. After that he begun to work as a producer and Dj.

He has more than a decade of experience in wich he achives the world respect thanks to his essential works like “Anjanas” (Regular 2006), “Recall” (Regular 2009), “Motion” (Avantroots 2010) and “Must” (Avantroots 2013), a instant classic of the electronic music, elegance and good taste.

He’s been at the most important music charts with “You Too” (Desolat 2012), “Dynamo” (Galaktika 2010) o “My Favourite Colour” (Avantroots 2010). As a remixer he has been also persistent, creating important works for artist as Mario Basanov, When Saints Go Machine, Gorge, Parov
Stelar, Juana Molina o SCSI-9Â… to name some.

He has co-produced the debut album of Hirotaka Miyamoto “Circles” and Maurice Aymard “Between the Stars”, as most of his works, released on “Mood Music”, MBF, or his own “Galaktika Records”.
In 2008 together with his mate Sergio Sainz they create “Pulshar”, a project full of sensuality and
synthetic soul music. After a few Ep’s (including the Echospace, Soultourist or Sven Weisemann remixes) his first album “Brotherhood” (Phonobox 2008) was born. A couple of years later they release “Inside” (Desolat 2010).

Later on they collaborated with the Mannheim national Museum to create the “Europa es una Isla – Europa ist eine insel” Original Sound Track, released on Avantroots at the end of 2012. “Different Drum Ep” (Desolat 2013) is theirs most club orientated work with the special featuring of Loco Dice.

In 2009 they made another big step, they create the Avantroots Records, a platform presentation with which they wish to let their passion for music, a concept that encloses vanguard and tradition,
with the only premise of emotion and quality.

Pablo was born to create music, always with an attitude, always with quality as a standard.

Scrounger

With his love for detail sets, Scrounger brings warm, gentle, soulful-organic, major- minor- sound to you, which has no fear to go cross borders and cannot deny to be rooted somewhere between rap and house music.
