Gen Kelsang Chöma will introduce modern Buddhist practices for improving our happiness, relationships, and ability to transform problems into opportunities. She will explain how we can begin to discover the nature of our mind and to actualize its extraordinary potential for lasting happiness through the joyful and heart-opening path of compassion and wisdom.

About Gen Kelsang Chöma

Resident Teacher at KMC San Francisco and a senior Kadampa Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Choma is one of the first Americans to be ordained and asked to teach by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. She studied and practiced under his guidance for more than 20 years and has taught in the San Francisco Bay Area; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and throughout New England where she started Serlingpa Meditation Center in Massachusetts.
