This spring, San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) gives the public a chance to discover the next big name in art at its free, year-end graduate and undergraduate exhibitions and at its annual ticketed Vernissage, a preview party of the MFA exhibition at SFAI’s stunning Ft. Mason Campus.
SFAI is the only school of higher learning solely dedicated to contemporary art. Since 1871, SFAI, with its commitment to experimentation, risk-taking, and innovation, has educated artists who become the creative leaders of their generation.
The year-end events, many of which are free, showcase thought provoking work across disciplines and are as follows:
MFA Exhibition
SFAI—Fort Mason Campus, Pier 2, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, San Francisco
* Public Opening Reception (free): Friday, May 17, 7—9pm
