Two San Francisco psychedlic rock staples both celebrate record releases at Thee Parkside on June 28!
The Green Door channels western garage psych energy with crushing riffs and stampeding rhythms. The Love Dimension has steeped itself in the music of the psychedelic era of the '60s then infused it with the sound of '90s grunge and other more contemporary influences to create "mind-expanding music" for the 21st century. Both The Green Door and The Love Dimension are veterans of the SF scene and will have new records on sale that night. Joining this lineup is Hangtown, with their tales of bleak ghost towns haunted by murderous drifters, soundtracked by fuzzed-out surf licks, banjo, and even the occasional theramin. The experience will call the listener out to the badlands, set up camp, and rock out with the ghosts that linger there in the reverb of a bygone age.
