THIS EVENT HAS ENDED

A Monthly San Francisco based storytelling show from the historic Mission District. Each show features three to four unique tellers presenting true stories that are heartbreaking, fascinating, moving and funny. Life is hard. Laugh harder.
Kaseem Bentley

Born and raised in San Francisco where he developed a no-holds-barred style of comedy, largely because of his hilarious parents (his father was a Muni driver with a snappy sense of humor and a hilarious storyteller; his mother, a social worker who was also funny).
For the last decade, Bentley has honed his skills at San Francisco’s open mics rowdy bar shows, and clubs, working his way through comedy rooms that have come and gone, enduring and developing a style that largely draws material from those in the crowd and that can sometimes be slightly antagonist.
More recently, Bentley has appeared on Comedy Central, Viceland, Nerdist, and Seeso. He’s also served as a staff-writer on Problematic with Moshe Kasher for Comedy Central and worked on the first season of Comedy Central’s The New Negroes.
Dave Nihill

Leaving Dublin, Ireland where he was born and raised until the age of 22, Dave got drunk on travel and never quite hit sobriety of it. He has lived and worked in twelve countries and visited over seventy. His shows draw on his wide travels, cultural observations, attempts at language study, (occasional) international drinking session(s) and being a mildly confused immigrant in the US.

Joe Klocek

a square peg in a round hole sort of guy. Raised a midwesterner, so he has manners, but living in San Francisco for 20 years, so he thinks he's better than you. Joe does two things great- tells stories and talks to the crowd.
Joe had a two month "comic in residency" at the first comedy club in Shanghai, China.
Joe has been featured on NPR's, "Snap Judgement" and has also appeared on Comedy Centrals, "Live at Gotham" NBC's, "Last Comic Standing" and was commentator for the Emmy award wining documentary, "A Bridge so Far"
Tarin Towers
Tarin Towers has lived in San Francisco for the last 24 years, during which time she’s sung in a rock band, studied kung fu, graduated rehab, become a cat-sitting professional, taught witchcraft, and toured the US performing her poetry. She collects her thoughts on an email blog called “Displacement Blues."
