Sylvestris Quartet is the exciting new presence on the Bay Area’s bustling early music scene. Its members, however, will be familiar to avid concert-goers interested in historical performance: their individual credits include Philharmonia Baroque, MUSA, Agave Baroque, American Bach Soloists, Live Oak Baroque Orchestra, Musica Pacifica, and Magnificat. They have performed historically informed programs of Mozart, Haydn and others through Marin Baroque and the Berkeley Early Music Festival Fringe.
