Porter is a band from Guadalajara, Mexico, formed in 2004. Their music can be defined through 3 concepts: Rock - Mexica - Experimental.
This band belongs to the rise of the Indie scene in Mexico, standing out for its avant-garde proposal and being one of the main musical proposals in Spanish-speaking rock. His proposals are inclined to experimental trends influenced by various musical genres, ranging from Noise Pop, Post Rock, Electronic Indie, Pop and even Film Soundtracks. They have been nominated 3 times for the Latin Grammy for "Alternative Record of the Year" and "Video of the Year"; likewise, they have been nominated and winners at awards such as the MTV Millenials Awards, the Lunas del Auditorio and the IMAS.
The band is currently made up of: David Velasco (Voice), Diego Bacter (Bass, Synthesizers and Sequences), Fernando de la Huerta (guitar), Víctor Valverde (guitar and keyboards).
In these more than 15 years of career they have sold more than 180 thousand physical copies sold, more than 50 million plays on YouTube and they have performed at festivals such as Coachella, SXSW and Vive Latino.
