Pop-Up Studio | Create a Nature Sprite

With a new year comes new perspectives. Join us in this Pop-Up Studio as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of Disney's Fantasia/2000 (2000), a new generation's perspective on Walt's groundbreaking concert epic. During our workshop, we will look at Walt's original concepts for Fantasia (1940) and his passion to tell unique stories through masterful symphonies. As we explore the new narratives that realized Walt's vision of updating his "concert film" with new music, you will focus on experimental visuals and design principles. Utilizing unconventional art supplies--such a winter foliage--you will make a 2D rendition of the beautiful sprite from the "Firebird Suite (1919 Version)" segment of Fantasia/2000.
