SPRING 2016
ART SHOW & SALE
MARCH 10-11 @ PRRC

Oscar Wilde once said, "Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known." Nowhere is that more certain than here at Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center.

March 10 & 11 we'll open our onsite gallery and welcome the public in to view and purchase a variety of items hand-crafted by Pomeroy participants, staff, and volunteers. You may even be lucky enough to meet some of our featured artists at the show! Thursday night's Opening Reception is 6-9PM. We'll have light hors d'ouevres and wine for our guests to enjoy as they take in the displays throughout our Main Hall.

Sale proceeds are split 50/50 between the Artist and PRRC, and all Art Show funds raised are used to purchase more art supplies. The value of the art goes much deeper than the pocketbook, however. PRRC Art Teacher Judy Goodman says, "Each persons' artistic voice is unique and ... so beautifully expressed through all the art forms at the center. I see so much joy and focus as students sit quietly observing an image of a flower or animal that they are rendering in paint or marker."

Open your heart to our "outsider" art.
