Born and raised in west suburban Chicagoland, Shaun J. Wright spent most of their teen years immersed in the sounds of house music. Raised in the epicenter of house culture in the late 80's and early 90's, their love for dance music began to expand throughout their high school years. Beginning in 2008, Wright began a three-year collaboration with Hercules and Love Affair. Returning to Chicago in 2012, Wright paired with DJ and Producer Alinka, releasing their inaugural EP, Twirl, and going on to collaborate with a number of producers including Chrissy and Stereogamous. As a DJ, Wright has performed around the world, steadily exhilarating dance floors weaving live vocals throughout their sets.
