PianoFight's Music/Scene: Songwriter Night

PianoFight's Music/Scene is a collaboration between local San Francisco songwriters, playwrights, and over 30 theater artists to create a one of a kind immersive theatrical experience. Set in a live music show happening all around you, musicians light up the stage, characters come to life, and drama unfolds in this one of a kind mixed-form story telling.Songwriter Night is the kick off to the March run of Music/Scene. For one night only, our local musicians will play a hanful of songs for playwrights and other theater artists in attendance. After that, writers pick the songs that most inspire them and pen short scripts set at a live concert. Each play is staged by actors and directors, and woven into a seamless immersive experience.

Playwrights are assigned a team of artists including 1 Songwriter, 1 Director, and 2-4 Actors. Teams have six weeks to write and rehearse their pieces before performing them live for four Monday nights at the PianoFight Bar. Music/Scene opens with 4 new plays on Monday, March 5th at 8pm.

Come by early to grab dinner and drinks before the show! PianoFight has a full kitchen and bar. If you plan on dining, we recommend you arrive 1.5 hours early. Restaurant seating is first come first serve.
PARKINGStreet parking is free after 6pm. We’re located 2 blocks from Powell BART, numerous muni lines and there are 3 parking lots within 1 block.
