Philippine Ballet Theatre: Kalayaan on Pointe
Heroes and legends of the 1898 fight for Philippine independence against Spain come alive in a stirring performance by by 20 award-winning performers of the highly acclaimed Philippine Ballet Theatre, resident company of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. A wonderful repertoire consisting of a suite on the beleaguered revolutionary hero “Andres Bonifacio,” and “Sayaw,” a brilliant ballet representation of regional dances, will be performed on this one-day-only event. “Bold. Brave. Beautiful,” Philippine Ballet Theatre brings Filipino heritage up front and center in San Francisco!
