SEE EVENT DETAILS

Peter Harper

Peter Harper comes from a long legacy of music. 58 years ago his grandparents, Dorothy and Charles Chase, opened the now world renowned, Claremont Folk Music Center. Peter's grandmother could play anything with strings and his mom followed suit. Ellen Harper, talented guitar and banjo player, gave rise three artistic sons, the now famous musician, Ben Harper. The world famous Author Joel Harper. And last but certainly not least the multi talented artist Peter. "Couldn't one of you guys have been a doctor or a lawyer?" Peter often teases his older brothers. It's all in good fun though, in reality, Peter wouldn't have it any other way. "My family is like a group of artistic super heroes. We use our powers for the betterment of society and the individuals around us. There are a lot of people spreading hate, especially these days. Using art to spread love and counteract that message is a must."

Moshe Vilozny

Moshe was born in Portland Oregon and raised in Santa Cruz California; spending summers in Israel and winters throughout Latin America. Moshe incorporates his life experiences into original songs steeped in American Roots Music and sprinkled with musical influences from around the globe.

Moshe has been writing & performing original songs since high school, when he found he could earn more busking on the streets of Santa Cruz than he could pumping gas at the local station.

In 2004, Moshe released his 1st studio album "Revolucion" with his world music group Universal Language. An album featuring his original songs sung in English, Spanish & Hebrew & put on heavy rotation on KPIG. They toured the west coast packing venues & festivals including Earthdance, Sierra Nevad, & Reggae On The River where they were joined by Michael Franti (a video of which is on the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE tab of this site) As players moved & Moshe settled down into married family life, the group took a hiatus, but still reunite for special performances.

2016 found Moshe returning full circle back to his roots as a singer songwriter with the release of "Lost & Found". One of the last projects from Gadgetbox Studios i]the album features Moshe's original songs performed live in studio. The album was placed into heavy rotation on KPIG.

Moshe is currently recording his 3rd album WOOD&SOUL, his most intimate effort yet. He is performing mainly as a solo artist showcasing songs from his previous two albums and his forthcoming album bringing honest, heartfelt original live music to his audiences.
