Peter Frampton - Never Say Never Tour

SEE EVENT DETAILS
From co-founding one of rock's first supergroups while still a teenager to releasing the most famous live album of all time, Peter Frampton has had many milestones in a career that began in the London borough of Bromley in the early '60s. Inspired by heroes like Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran, the young guitarist began his musical pursuits as an adolescent alongside David Bowie, an older classmate who became his lifelong friend.

By the time he was 16, Frampton was having his first hits with The Herd. When only 18, he co-founded Humble Pie with Steve Marriott of Small Faces and Spooky Tooth's Greg Ridley. The group's mix of hard rock and progressive styles made them a pioneer of heavy metal.

After going solo in 1971, Frampton toured tirelessly in the U.S. His efforts paid off in 1976, when Frampton Comes Alive! became a phenomenon. Topping the Billboard charts for 10 weeks, it sold eight million copies and spawned three smashes in "Baby, I Love Your Way," "Show Me the Way," and "Do You Feel Like We Do."

Later career highlights included playing guitar on David Bowie's Glass Spider tour, winning a Grammy in 2007 for Best Pop Instrumental Album, and touring with a who's who of other six-string heroes as Frampton's Guitar Circus in 2013. Released in 2016, Acoustic Classics featured new performances of many of his best-known songs, including a few favorites from Frampton Comes Alive!

~~~~~~~~
Peter Frampton is one of the most celebrated artists in rock history. He was lead singer and guitarist at 16 for British teen band the Herd. He went on to co-founded one of the first super groups, Humble Pie.
Following his new album, "Thank You Mr Churchill," Frampton will embark on a world tour celebrating his multi-platinum-selling live album "Frampton Comes Alive!", performing the album in its entirety.
For years, Cheap Trick - rock's power-pop originator - has forged its rightful place among the world's most accomplished and emulated rock bands with a timeless sound that blends elements of pop, punk, and even metal, in an instantly recognizable way. Since the release of its self-titled debut album in 1977, Cheap Trick has sold over 20 million records, received 40 gold and platinum recording awards, given more than 5,000 high-powered live performances (the quartet of consummate musicians is widely known for nearly four decades of almost continuous touring), and appeared on 29 movie soundtracks, exhibiting its far-reaching popularity and appeal.
