What does great bicycle infrastructure look like? How do you get it built? And what happens after you build it?
We set out to answer these questions and more with Matt Brezina, one of the founders of People Protected Bike Lanes. Join us to discuss the explosive growth of bikeshare, the politics and policy of bike infrastructure, and how to build a people-protected mobility movement.
People Protected Bike Lanes is a global movement of cyclists, activists, and urbanists who are putting their bodies on the line to advocate for protected bike lanes. They've successfully created protected bike lanes on Upper Market, $150K of funding for the Valencia Bicycle Safety Project, and planned improvements on Howard and Townsend.
All tickets come with a pizza dinner and soft drinks!
