Have you always wanted to capture people in motion? Draw figures full of life and energy in your sketches? (But find it too hard to learn to draw them from life?) Then this class is for you!
While the teaching is geared towards working from life, this workshop aims at taking the pressure off the learning process: We will work in a classroom setting and use images and video to learn the techniques and processes that go into quick capture.
We'll do three intensive hours of the basics of gesture drawing, capturing movement, and most inportantly, drawing people that look alive.
Cost of the class includes handouts and material fees (a $30 value). So you don't have to bring any supplies along, unless you wish to.
Just come prepared to work hard (and have fun) and go home armed with some new techniques for drawing people!
