Paula Frazer Not many American singers with a country twang are actually from the Deep South, but such is the case for Paula. She moved to San Francisco in the 1980s and began Tarnation in the 1991. Paula released 2 albums on 4AD, 1 on Reprise and four albums on Birdman Records and toured Europe and the US with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Moore Brothers, The Tindersticks and others. She has also appeared on recordings with artists including Cornershop, Jonathan Richman, Mark Eitzel, Sean Lennon, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Tindersticks, and the Czars.
