Paseo Artistico Returns to the Mission District

Paseo Artistico returns in full force to the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District with a Saturday packed full of FREE arts and culture programming for the entire family at multiple venues along the 24th Street corridor. The theme for this month will be standing solidarity with Women’s History Month and engaging the Mission District community with local artists, activists, musicians, and creators. We hope you can join us!


Full Schedule of Activities:
Precita Eyes Muralists, 2981 24th Street
11am - 12 pm
Bilingual guided mural tour focusing on women muralists and history of women artists in La Misión.

Alley CatBooks, 3036 24th Street
11am - 1pm
"Signs of the Times" - We invite the community to create signs and posters in support of equality for all. Inspiration & materials provided.

Juan R. Fuentes Gallery at Accion Latina, 2958 24th Street
1-3pm
Silkscreen printmaking workshop. A workshop designed for and by women. Instructed by: Lisa Marie Castellanos.

Dance Brigade's Dance Mission, 24th Street BART Plaza
3pm
Taiko dance performance with Grrl Brigade

Cine+Mas SF / San Francisco Latino Film Festival, 3036 24th St.
4-6 pm
La Yuma (2009). The story of a strong-willed girl from the poor neighborhood of Managua who dreams of being a boxer.

7-9 pm
Live musical performances by: Miss Moist, Tristan Puig, Staring Back, and Bobey
