Pain Management Course - NEW

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Would you like to have less pain, better functional movement and improved quality of life? Pain is complex, but you can live well again. The good news is that pain is changeable and there are many effective paths to recovery. There is hope for finding more peace and ease.
Gain knowledge and practical instructions about pain physiology. Not only does persistent pain alter your physical body, it activates your nervous system, which becomes sensitized and hyper-vigilant. All it can see is danger. The information relayed to the brain is no longer accurate. This is where we consciously influence the feedback loop—with movement.
The goal of the class will be to help you move with more ease. Techniques for keeping the body, mind and breath calm will be presented.
Each group session will be part educational and part practice. The practice component will focus on breath awareness and simple body movement as you develop skill at self-regulation. You will have simple homework to practice between meetings.
Learn to reset your nervous system. Become a pain care pro.
Small class size. Please sign up in advance to reserve your spot.
