The Chapel Local Music Series and Family Not A Group present...

Ozer and EaSWay, Seiji Oda, Lovey, Cynny
plus DJs: Baghead, DJSAY, Jenset, Hosts: Mike Evans Jr & Qing Qi

Ozer:
Coming off the success of his highly anticipated 2nd album, Lost In Translation, Ozer has shared stages with Westside Boogie, Topaz Jones, Trayce Chapman and more. He has proven that he is equipped with an impeccable gift of extracting from the quintessence of life, transforming into a prolific composer, and penetrating one's conscience with truth and eloquence that rivals the legends. Literature and entertainer, life is his stage, and music is his recourse to invoke, and arouse the sleeping and deprived. Ozer has mastered the power of words and uses his words as a lyrical canvas to sketch out the realities of life in song.

EaSWay:
(he/him) is an artist from one of the last historically Black neighborhoods of San Francisco, Bayview Hunters Point. With half of his roots from Washington D.C. and time spent developing musically at school in Los Angeles, his sound is diverse and multifaceted with melodies and straightforward lyrics that, overtime, set in with impenetrable complexity. One of the members of the collective Family Not A Group, he's working out of the Bay Area at the moment and can be found on instagram @easweh and twitter @easway.

Lovey:
Lovey is a 26-year-old alternative indie soul singer, lyricist, and poet born and raised in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She is currently based in California, where her introspective lyrics and smooth vocal delivery consistently resonates within the hearts of her listeners in the Bay Area and beyond. ?

As she confidently experiments with unique flows, song structures, and superior lyricism, she is quickly carving out her own lane that is heavily influenced by a range of genres such as Neo-soul, pop, and Hip Hop. Her mission is to spread hope and love through vulnerable storytelling, while encouraging us all to embrace the spirit of our inner child.

Cynny:
Born and raised in San Francisco, her music is centered around her life experiences. The love she has for her city and the diverse culture we once had has shaped her journey as a musician. Artists like Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, and Lauren Hill were just a few of her biggest inspirations growing up. As she continues to grow as an artist, she hopes her music always reflects these pieces of inspiration that has shaped who she is today.

Seiji Oda:
Is a rapper and producer from Oakland, California. After the viral success of "Trapanese" with his younger brother Lil Ricefield, he has redefined his sound, combining lo-fi soundscapes with his Bay Area hyphy roots.

Sounds by Baghead, DJSAY, and Jenset
