Christian Lane won the 2011 Canadian International Organ Competition. He is currently Associate of the Music Department, Associate University Choirmaster and Organist at Harvard University. He performs a wide range of music and this concert will feature Bach's Passacaglia.
“A true artist whose gratifying musical maturity is demonstrated through playing that is suave, elegant, and exciting (The American Organist),” he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music and completed graduate work at Yale University. In July, Christian was elected National Councillor for Competitions and New Music for the American Guild of Organists, being the youngest councillor in recent memory.

His first, highly acclaimed album features Elgar, Schumann, Liszt, Vierne and more. It was released by ATMA Classique in May 2012.
