Orchid Masquerade : 69th Annual Pacific Orchid Exposition

There will be thousands of orchid flowers and plants on display, with judging from the American Orchid Society, as well as plants for sale from members of the San Francisco Orchid Society as well as many local, national & international nurseries. Hands-on demonstrations will be conducted by experts with information about successfully growing and blooming orchids at home in San Francisco, as well as ongoing efforts to promote habitat conservation around the world. Families are welcome, and there will be special activities for kids and people of all ages and interests.

Single Day General Admission Price: $12 advance / $15 at the door

A Preview Night event on Thursday February 24th (6pm - 9pm) where adult attendees (21 and older only since alcohol will be served) will be the first to see the orchid displays, and have first pick from show vendors (orchid growers from all over the world offering the very best selection and some of the most exotic orchids available today), all with with reduced crowds (a few hundred rather than a few thousand people).

Note that a $5 discount is available for students and seniors (65 years and over); children 13 years old and under get in free with a paid adult chaperone.

Children between 5-11 years old must show either proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 1 day prior if antigen or 2 days prior if PCR to enter the event venue. Children 2-4 years old need to have a negative test within the same timeframe outlined above.

Note that COVID-19 precautions will be in place: ALL ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED to SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION AND WEAR A MASK, as well as ADHERE TO OTHER HYGIENE MEASURES - HAND SANITATION, SOCIAL DISTANCING, AND AVOID ATTENDING IF HIGH RISK (fever or other symptoms, known recent COVID exposure, ...) consistent with updates from the Dept of Public Health Officer Order C19-07y (see https://www.sfcdcp.org/covid19) - note as of Feb 1, 2022 booster shots are included in the definition of full vaccination status.
