Join us for the opening reception of Cobblestones and Lumber, on view March 29–April 10 in the Atrium of SFAI’s Fort Mason Campus.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITIONSeattle and San Francisco have long been connected; in Seattle, streets are paved with cobblestone from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, loaded aboard lumber ships that were using the stones and rubble for ballast. Cobblestones and Lumber continues this legacy of exchange, bringing together graduate students from the University of Washington and the San Francisco Art Institute for an exhibition that will take place in the Atrium of the SFAI Fort Mason Campus.
UW Artists: Luke Armistead, Granite Calimpong, Lucy Copper, Zack Davis, Abigail Drapkin, Jackie Granger, Pinchuan (Larry) Huang, Baorong Liang, Sean Lockwood, Brighton McCormick, Todd McKinney, Andy Romero, Charles Stobbs III, emily charlotte taibleson, Connor Walden, and Shuo Yin.
