Opening for Parallax Poems, text art by Richard Loranger

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Celebrate National Poetry Month at Nomadic Press with an exhibit of text art by Richard Loranger, showing through the month of April. The opening party on April 8 will feature readings by Richard Loranger from the artwork itself, and Oakland poet James Cagney, and a musical performance by Annelyse Gelman. Many of Loranger’s pieces are large, brightly colored poems that can be read in many different ways, depending on the viewer and the light. Bob Holman says, “You have to see these to believe them...Blink and it’s a whole new poem.” So please stop by for an evening of intense performances and a banquet of words and color.

The exhibit will run through the month of April. Viewing times correspond with afternoon and evening events. See https://www.nomadicpress.org for specifics.
